About Eukroma® Cream

Rating of sales:

Description

Eukroma® Cream is manufactured by Yash Pharma. This is a skin lightening treatment used to bleach dermal hyperpigmentation also known as freckles, melasma (chloasma), liver spots, and age spots. The key ingredient of Eukroma® Cream is Hydroquinone. This is a topical lightening agent and a benzene derivative of phenol type.

Hyperpigmentation occurs because of an abnormal production of melanin, skin coloring pigment. Overproduction of melanin may be caused by exposure to sunlight, pregnancy, birth control pills, hormonal medications, injury, and skin inflammation.

MOA (mechanism of action):

Hydroquinone reduces the amount of melanin in the skin by suppressing the production of tyrosinase, an important constituent of melanin biosynthesis. With the lack of melanin hyperpigmented skin starts coming back to its normal complexion.

Dosage

It is recommended to start the Eukroma® Cream treatment course with one application daily. After 10-15 days of such schedule, continue the course with two applications daily (preferably in the morning and at bedtime).

Eukroma® Cream is usually applied for 2-3 months.

How to use Eukroma® Cream:

1. Wash your hands and make sure the affected areas are clean and dry.

2. Take a small amount of the cream and gently massage it over the affected area avoiding mucosal surfaces.

3. Wash your hands after the cream application.

Precautions

Do not use Eukroma® Cream for longer than 6 months.

You should use sunscreen product (SPF 15 at least) during the Eukroma® Cream treatment course.
