Side effects
Generic Tenoretic has its side effects. The most common are:
- depression
- diarrhea
- dry eyes or mouth
- headache
- nausea
- dizziness
- spinning sensation
- tired feeling
- constipation
- mild itching or skin rash
- impotence, loss of interest in sex, or trouble having an orgasm
Less common but more serious side effects during taking Generic Tenoretic:
- allergic reactions (skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue)
- breathing problems
- chest pain
- cold, tingling, or numb hands or feet
- irregular heartbeat
- muscle cramps
- redness, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth
- swollen ankles, legs
- trouble passing urine or change in the amount of urine
- unusual bruising
- unusually weak or tired
- vomiting
- worsened gout pain
- yellowing of the eyes or skin
- hallucinations
- seizure (convulsions)
Side effects manifestations are not only depend on medicine you are taking but also depend on your health state and on the other factors.
Contra-indications
Do not use Generic Tenoretic if you are allergic to Generic Tenoretic components.
Do not use Generic Tenoretic if you're pregnant or you plan to have a baby. Do not take it in case you are a nursing mother.
Do not use GEneric Tenoretic if you have a serious heart problem such as heart block or slow heart rate or if you are unable to urinate.
Do not use Generic Tenoretic if you are allergic to sulfa drugs (such as Bactrim, Septra, Sulfatrim, SMX-TMP, and others).
Be careful with Generic Tenoretic if you have congestive heart failure, angina (chest pain), liver or kidney disease, a lung disorder, diabetes, gout, lupus, a thyroid disorder, adrenal gland tumor, psoriasis, or circulation problems.
Be careful with Generic Tenoretic if you take other blood pressure medications, especially clonidine (Catapres), (Norvasc, Caduet, Exforge, Lotrel, Tekamlo, Tribenzor, Twynsta), diltiazem (Cartia, Cardizem), felodipine (Plendil), nicardipine (Cardene), nifedipine (Procardia, Adalat), nimodipine (Nimotop), nisoldipine (Sular), reserpine (Serpasil), or verapamil (Calan, Covera, Isoptin, Verelan); digoxin (digitalis, Lanoxin, Lanoxicaps); dobutamine (Dobutrex); indomethacin (Indocin); isoproterenol (Isuprel Mistometer); lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid); a diabetes medication such as insulin, glyburide (Diabeta, Micronase, Glynase), glipizide (Glucotrol), chlorpropamide (Diabinese), or metformin (Glucophage); heart rhythm medication such as amiodarone (Cordarone, Pacerone) or disopyramide (Norpace); a diuretic (water pill) such as chlorothiazide (Diuril), hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, HydroDiuril, Hyzaar, Lopressor, Vasoretic, Zestoretic), chlorthalidone (Hygroton, Thalitone), indapamide (Lozol), metolazone (Mykrox, Zaroxolyn), and others; or steroid medications (prednisone and others).

Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated.
Avoid drining or operating machinery.
